Our programs

OARA raises much needed funding to spread awareness of the lifelong challenges for children born with OA/TOF in the community. We also fund dedicated nurses in the Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne who care for babies born with these conditions.

RCH NURSE SUPPORT

OARA financially supports Nurses who specialise in the care of newborn babies with OA/TOF including with their initial feeding. OARA has provided financial support over a long period of time and continues this support.

MEDICAL RESEARCH

OARA has previously supported medical research into OA/TOF. For example, OARA financially supported a study into oesophageal motility in people born with OA/TOF.

CATCH UP DAYS

OARA host a number of 'Catch-Up Days where parents of OA/TOF newborns and OA/TOF patients can meet and discuss their experiences in a relaxed environment.
